Cracked heels are as common as they are annoying. The good news is that it is possible to get rid of them in a quick and effective way. Without spending who knows how much money on special products in pharmacies or perfumeries, with an amazing home remedy.

So what is this home remedy? Have a look below for the answer!

Cracked heels, a potato and a lemon are enough: use them together and get rid of them!

There are many reasons why heels crack, some very trivial, others due to specific health conditions.

The use of open-toed shoes such as sandals and flip-flops, which exposes the feet to air and dust, is one of the most common causes, as well as excessive contact with water and poor hygiene, but overweight and obesity, vitamin deficiencies, diabetes and hypothyroidism can also contribute to this problem.

The skin covering the heels, which is already drier than the skin covering other parts of the body, becomes even drier until it flakes off, causing discomfort and sometimes even pain.

If cracked heels have become a constant problem for you, the first thing to do is to check that it is not due to one of the above-mentioned conditions, which, once addressed and treated properly, will, among other things, cause the flaw to disappear.

However, it is much easier for cracked heels to depend on a lack of hydration: here is the miraculous home remedy that will allow you to get rid of it.

Cracked heels: the effective home remedy and best of all, free!

Potato paste with lemon is an old and very effective folk remedy for getting rid of cracked heels. It can be applied in seconds and the results are truly amazing.

Get it:

  • 1 medium potato
  • 1 lemon
  • Coarse salt
  • 1 tablespoon of toothpaste (any flavor)
  • A bowl
  • A grater with large holes
  • Cheesecloth (or colander)
  • One towel

It is easy to do.

  1. Grate the potato and put it in a bowl, then filter the juice using cheesecloth or a sieve.
  2. Squeeze the juice with your hands. Squeeze the lemon well and add the juice to the grated potato.
Add the coarse salt and mix well.
  3. Now it’s time for the toothpaste: add it to the mixture and mix again until you have a homogeneous paste.
  4. Massage the paste into your heels and leave it on for about 20 minutes. If you like, you can use a pumice stone.
  5. Rinse with warm water. Gently dry with a towel and finally spread a little moisturizing cream, taking care to let it be absorbed completely and deeply.

Done! You will see that with this remedy you will immediately notice improvements. Please SHARE this with your friends and family.
